can someone explain quarts?
Ok so im sure this has been posted before but it's been confusing me.
Alot of people on this site have been mentioning 6 quart tubs for BPs. But I have looked at the conversion of quarts to gallons and it seems extremely small to be housing a BP in. Could someone please give me the dimensions of a 6 quart tub? It would really clear things up for me.

well a 6 qt tub is for a hatcling and then they move up fromt here. I keep my biggers in 47qt tub
please remember. a snake is NOT a dog. theyd ont need room to run and play. they are glorafobes (spelling?)
afraid of open spaces. so cramped dark quarters is best for your snake.

I think you mean agoraphobes, but nonetheless, you are right.

ok, because I have a tub, which is 14" long, 9" wide and approximately 7" tall, would this be suitable for a hatchling BP that isn't eating? At the moment he is in a 15 gallon long tank, and refuses to eat f/t fuzzies. I previously used this tub for when I was breeding leopard geckos so the lid has been cut out and a mesh section is in the lid for ventilation, I may put holes in the sides but I don't want to lose too much heat or humidity.
Let me know whether you feel this is suitable or whether i should make any adjustments.
P.S. I do not have a racking system or anything, this is just one BP and one tub.

Do You mean Fuzzy mice...If so they are too small...Have You tried live hopper mice?

I meant to say hoppers, he has never ate on his own, we have had to resort to force feeding because he was starting to lose weight. We have him at the pet store right now, and we think the supplier was feeding him live mice but the owner refuses to try live feeding (extremely frustrating). I was hoping that I could take it home (away from the stress of being at a pet shope) into a smaller tub to see if he will eat then.
P.S. I know the move from the store to the tub at home will be stressful but in the long run it may be worth it. And I have another thread about this BP and why it may not be eating, so I just need to know whether this tub would be suitable to have him in for a bit.

Yes the tub will be fine for a hatchling ball.
