Where do you keep your feeders?
So I have a small tank I keep some mice in for my BP in between feedings. I used to have the tank in the basement but recently moved it into the same room as my snakes. I didnt even think about it at first, just that if would be easier to clean the tanks since their all in the same room. But now I'm thinking that all i'm doing is scenting the whole room and pissing my snakes off because they smell food and cant get to it when they want to.
So my question is do you keep your feeders in a seperate room or in the same room?

I have my feeders and snakes in the same room.

The racks are probably 6 feet apart.

I don't keep live feeders - but I do have 3 pet mice. I keep their tank in the same room as my snake and don't have any problems.

My feeders are in a small room within the snake room, no problems.

All the mice, ASFs, and rats that I raise are kept in a spare room (not far from the the snake room), and I keep a chest freezer full of frozen rats, mice, ASFs, and chicks in the snake room.

I used to live in a loft, and kept around 100 rodents about 10 feet from the snake racks and never had a problem.

Seemed that it was all relevant to them, once I put a tub of feeders in front of the rack then they went into hunt mode.

Keep conscious of not handling while YOU smell like a rodent and you should be fine.
