    Tub Size Question
I just picked up a new Mojave male thats around ~300 G. I had a 32 Qt tub on hand and stuck him in that. Is this too large of a tub? If so what size should he be in. It isn't a problem to get a smaller tub, I just didn't know if that would be too large or not.

It depends on the snake. If he eats regularly in the 32 then he's fine. If he isn't eating then you may want to think about going down to a 16 to give him some more security.

32 qt should be fine, give him nice comfy hides and maybe a bit of clutter with fake plants and such. Once I switch to tubs, 32 qts are probably going to be for 500g snakes and up ideally, but as TMoore said as long as he's eating regularly, tub size shouldn't be an issue.

I just got him yesterday and so I probably won't feed him until next Wed on feeding day. I think I may go to a 16 just for giggles honestly. No need to risk a stressed snake. Thanks for the help:gj:

well... I have my two snakes that are less than 200grams in a 28qt tub that just has two hides, one on each end, and I have yet to have feeding problems.

I don't think the tub size matters exactly, as long as they have someplace to hide.

Either that or he worded it wrong and he has each one in a different 28qt tub.
