Ah happy...night. :D My Amel corn, who hasn't eaten for over two months, finally took a PK adult mouse tonight!!:banana:
I'm so proud of him. :fest2::pinkele::fest: Just wanted to cheer to people who actually understand.

I'm currently going through the same scenario with my Bairds Rat. He's went form eating adult mice to now only taking fuzzies but at least he ate something!
Congrats on getting the wee man eating again :gj:
Re: HE ATE!! *rejoice rejoice*
I'm astray... just saw this thread from glancing down the forum...
I just got curious because I thought only ball pythons and hognoses are finicky eaters... I definitely remember when researching which snake to get for our first snake that the cornsnakes were highly recommended over ball pythons because they are not problem feeders.
But yeah, Hurraaayyy!!! Our bp stopped eating last November when the humidity got too low, so I know how worrisome that can be.
Re: HE ATE!! *rejoice rejoice*
Thanks all for the great comments. :D
Normally, corns are the UNpickiest eaters there are! My ghost male will eat any rodent you put in front of him in any form and my new Lavender female is also a ravenous eater. :)
I did have my ghost boy go 'on and off' food for about two months...but he would eat one week and not the next, so he was still taking food. Eventually he went right back to being a pig and actually wants more. :) So, when my adult Amel male started refusing, I thought he was going through the same thing. But he refused EVERY meal offered for a full two months or more!
Luckily, he only lost about 31g or so total from this. And I'm just really glad he ate again, even if he refuses next week. :) I want to breed him with my Lav girl this spring for some opals. :D

Re: HE ATE!! *rejoice rejoice*
:D:D He ate again tonight! One of only 4 out of 9 that did! Only one of my BPs took her meal, all the others cringed away or ignored it. I guess it's just that time of year.
But, Yay! My nice Amel corn boy is back on track. :partyon:
