Is there a particular type of normal that tends to create a higher white spider? Light / dark / pattern? Or is it just luck of the unknown genes of the normal?
thanks

Re: High white spider
Hmmm, that's an interesting question. I'd think that it would be just like selective breeding with any other morph. But then again I've seen the results of a couple spider clutches that were just all over the place. All the spiders in one clutch (I think he got 5 total) looked just completely different. I think the spider gene may just be really variable.
I want to say though that if you bred a nice high white spider to a normal that had some nice white borders to their pattern that may increase your chances of having nice high white spiders. But I couldn't say for sure. I'd think your best bet would be to breed a nice high white spider to another high white spider if that's what you're looking to get from the clutch.

Re: High white spider
I was thinking the same thing today!
I'm not sure, but id guess its from balls that how already high yellow sides. :weirdface
I guess it also depends on the spider, maybe its random but normally I see high white spiders throw high white and low throwing lows. At the same time I see randomly opposite siblings of white if that makes since. IDK, Maybe we can talk about it more at the show this weekend:)
