    how to disinfect driftwood.
    guys what other ways can I use to disinfect a driftwood aside from baking.
    I got a nice looking driftwood I and want to disinfect it before using it but it doesn't fit in my oven.

    boil it. Aside from that spray it down with bleach and pressure wash it, and then set it to dry.

    adding to that.. you can spray it down it PAM. as then your drift wood will be barrier against mites.

    One more thing, if its huge, cut it in half, bake it, and glue it back together with a strong adhesive.

    I have heard of people throwing larger pieces in the oven. I am not going to say what temp to set it or how long to leave it in as I dont want to be responsible for burning anyone's house down. :P Maybe someone else can chime in who has heard of this method too? :salute:
