Nice! That looks like a great bachelor pad he's got, could we see some pictures of your setup? I've really been thinking about putting together or buying some cages with those built in hide boxes.

He's so clean looking! Love the clean Bci's :D
Jeez, every time I see your big cages I *really* get the urge to just throw care to the wind and build some for my girls... Honestly, that's probably the reason why I haven't purchased the ones from AP yet

Okay Brandon- gosh darnit- I'm gonna do it. I'm making the cages.

Questions: Are yours dual side veneered plywood? 1/2 inch? How did you attach the doors; inset with a router or on the outside of the wood? What door material? I was thinking of Lexan since it's stronger than plexi and doesn't break like glass and is still able to be drilled through (for the holes for the hardware.)

I know you've done this before, but can you post pictures again of the cages? I'd sure appreciate it! I'm going to make mine 4x2x6 (LxWxH) and pattern it after AP's A30 cage.

    Thanks Brandon :D

EDIT>>> Ooops, I forgot: What did you use to treat the wood? Also, do you have tile or anything on the floor of the cage? I'll be using RHP's for the heat. Thanks again.

I use all 3/4" oak plywood. It's nice, strong and inexpensive. No tile, just wood. The whole cage is treated with several coats of Polyurethane for water protection. Heated by a Heat panel. The doors are attached my hinges screwed into the face frame. Just regular glass.

I'll dig up some old photos of it later.
