I thought this was a very informative page for Michigan regulations, contact for concerns with pet shops, and also a listing of licensed pet shops in Michigan. Just thought I'd share, because I know that sometimes we feel like there is nothing we can do for neglected animals in pet shops.

How do I file a complaint against a pet store (in Michigan)?
Please contact the Michigan Department of Agriculture directly at (517) 373-1077 to file a complaint. Please have the name and location of the facility, as well as the time and date you were at the facility, if visited.
