    need your input
Hello all, well i am about to build glass tops fpr my three tanks cuz i am having a hard time keepin the humidity up. So i use both ut heaters and lights on two and one has heat emiter (ceramic) temps seem to be ok little on cool side for ambieant. So the questions r do i need to have a hole in glass where the lamps and the ceramics are, or can they sit on the glass? thx for your help sean

definitely cut holes, the heat wouldbuild up too much reguardless, but if your using plexiglass it would prob melt. Cutting real glass would seem to be too much of a hassle, you could always try covering part of the screen top (assuming thats what your using) with something, to try to trap a little more humidity in. I'm sure its pretty cold in Canada, but even on the cold nights where im from, I usually keep a little electric heater on to keep the ambient temps up in the room.
