everything(temp, humidity, ect) has been perfect in both the tank and tub my bp has been in... how is it possible that it has RI? just sheer dumb luck? got it before i got the snake?

Ive only had this snake for about a month now... hes was born in 08 and is around 13-14" long

I'm making my vet appointment on monday

    Hi,

I know this might sound counter intuitive but it might help to focus on what you are doing right - you caught it and are getting it treated.

It can be something as simple as stress from a new environment making them a little more succeptible to a complete mystery. Sometimes no matter what we do people and animals can get the odd sniffle or bug.

As long as it isn't a regular thing and you do the standard double check just to make sure all the readings are where they should be don't panic as much. :)

well RI is in fact an infection, unless you live in a 100% germ free world it can always happen.
