    need help with johnson control thermostat
    ok i found a deal on johnson controls thermostat a419 the only problem is it is not wired and i need to add a power stip does anyone have some directions on how to do this? Thanks

    Does it come with wiring instructions? I'm pretty sure the Ranco's do.

    It's pretty simple really if you follow the directions but if you want to wait I'll be making a video next week wiring mine A 419. PM me

    You will have a line in and line out. Put the black wire from male plug end on the line in positive and the black wire from your power strip on the line out positive. Then connect the two ground wires together with a wire nut and the same with the two whites. Then use a short wire as a jumper to connect the two commons on line 1 and 2 together and your done .

    Dont forget to check the jumper position!

    Adjust accordingly for what you need it for.
