What gift did you GIVE that you are the most excited about?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

So often, after the holiday season, people get caught up in all of the cool, new things that they have received, but forget about the time and thought they they put into the gifts that they gave. So, what gift(s) did you give this holiday season that you are the most excited about, and who did you give it to?

The gift that I was the most excited about giving was a tea pot for my mom. She loves to drink tea and has been wanting a good tea pot for a long time, but dislikes the look of most of the tea pots that she has run across. A friend of hers has a tea pot that my mom liked the look of. We asked her friend where she purchased hers from, and we found a similar one that my mom really likes. Now she can make a whole pot of tea instead of making individual cups of tea!

well my gf's bday was on the 17th, and the gift I was most excited about giving was for her bday and not x-mas, but I got her an ipod :D

The gift I was most excited to give was last Christmas, but it was a Gladius (Roman short sword) to my ex-husband. He lives for all things Rome, and particularly drooled over the Roman short swords. I found one, a real one, in a pawn shop for an unbelievable price...and all it needed was some rust removal.

Mind you, this is a man that never really gets emotional or excited over gifts. When he opened that box (over the phone, sadly) all I heard was 'Oh my God...It can't be...it isn't...it is!' followed by the Homer Simpson drool. :D

The other 'best given' gift was a professional drafting table for my partner a few years ago. :)

my grandsons honda quad and all his toys!!!!!!!!!!! he isn't even here yet!! but i am excited!

For Karl - he loves all things Steelers - got him two SWEET Steelers caps - embroidered with the Steelers symbols.

Our five year old grandson who believes in Santa Claus had his heart set on an AT Rex Power Wheels toy and and been asking Santa for one. We made sure that he found one under the tree.

oh definitely the camera i got my 9 year old. she's a gifted photographer and assisting her to continue on that path warms my heart.

for my son... definitely his snowboarding socks and bandana for his face. i worry about him working in the cold all day so this is wonderful.

for my hubby... i had a local artist commissioned to create an original piece of art for him. she hand paints on feathers and so i got her to use a blue heron feather (my fav bird and one of my spirit guides) and paint a wolf on it (his spirit guide)... he loved it!

I have a friend that owns a custom sign and sticker shop. I had him make a sign and had it drop shipped to Adam (8ball pythons) for thanks for the great customer support and Merry Christmas. It has his logo and everything on it. I'm sure Adam is still wondering who sent that to him. I'll have to ask him next time I talk to him how it turned out.

Paying for my girlfriends school books to help speed her to her degree.:D
