    Nice looking pastel.

The best way to choose a pastel is look for the traits you like best when you choose the one you want. All kinds of Variations exist. High blushing, flames, clean reduced like pattern, very busy pattern, Orange collor, yellow color, pale, burn your eyes bright, soft,... and the list goes on. Don't pick a pastel cause it is a pastel. Pick a pastel cause it has the traits you want to try and pass on. For the short of it the name most breeders use for this process is "selective breeding". Anyone can stick a pastel male with a normal female and get eggs that will make pastels, but who will create the next pastel that gives other ball python owners envy!

Yeah great advice, thats why my plan is. I am looking for a visually appealing pastel that when bred with my pinny will produce lemon blasts that would make the NERD guys proud (I think they're the ones that created the LB [someone will correct me if I'm wrong]). The owner has been stricken with some illness and is no longer able to take care of them properly. He's offerring them at a pretty good price. Thanks for all of your input.
