    Can someone please answer this
    Hello,

I have a question, everytime I feed my female ball python, after she is done eating she rubs one side of her face against the log in her tanks. I don't know why she does this but she does it than carries on as per normal and goes in her hide.

Is this normal? Has anyone ever seen this? She's done this the last few time I have fed her.

She is re-aligning her jaw and it is very normal.

What type of substrate are you using? If its aspen or any other loose material she may have gotten it stuck in her mouth while eating.

    Nah, just using paper towel.

    Thanks:)

On a side not, i'm paranoid to use any substrate other then something that can't be swallowed with past bad experiences.
