Constant bad shed

My one gecko lately has had 4 bad shed in a row, th elast one being today. So i place him in warm water and peel off the skin off his/her toes but leave the rest on. What could be causing this constant bad shedding?

The number one reason for retained sheds would be humidity. If you don't have a moist hide inside the inclosure try adding one in. Simple plastic sandwich box container or something similar with a hole cut in the top and moist Sphagnum moss inside.
