    Het Red Axanthic or ...
I'll let you guys decide...What do you think? She's an adult and weighs 1900+g She's gonna be proven out hopefully next season if my 08 male het red (corey woods line) is ready to breed.

    Next to a normal female...

Well... Doesn't really look like it to me, but that is one of the morphs I am still trying to be able to perfect in identifying.

She looks like a Het Red to me. :)

I have a couple, one is more red than the other along the dorsal (the blushing has a reddish tinge). They can be difficult to photograph and show the true differences from Normals, but they definitely do look different in person.

She looks like it to me, but I do not own any to compare her too. I am just basing my opinion on ones that I have seen online.

looks normal to me. check out NWE's morph guide, it should have squiggles in the 'alien head' pattern
http://www.nextworldexotics.com/hghra.htm yours has the blushing but doesnt have the squiggles

I have one that also doesn't have the "squiggles" and it is a Corey Woods animal purchased from Ozzyboids, so from my experience it's not always a die hard rule that the squiggles must be present.

It's good to have them, but if you know the genetics then the absence of them doesn't prove that they aren't Het Reds (this is only my opinion).

If it was sold as Normal, it's normal. Mine was sold as a Het Red, so that's what it is. I'll prove her out next year. btw: The male looks more so like a Het Red (with squiggles) than she does. :)

Well, I got a "normal" that turned out to be a Het Red, so... yeah.

    Not always :)
