    I've never noticed that it does, in my experience they don't seem to react to the flash all that much.

    I was just wondering cause i started taking a few pictures and a few very close ups and i had flash on, then after i thought omg does the flash hurt them or mess up their eyes in anyway =\

    Well, I would suggest stepping back and having the flash on if you plan on using it, because it will wash out the animals color if you are too close anyway...

    Unless someone has stumbled upon the talking snake morph I don't think you will get a for sure answer to this question. :) My snake reacts to me moving my hand in front of its head, it does not react to flash when I take a picture. I can only assume that the hand causes more stress/alarm then the flash of the camera.

    true true.
    i just felt bad after taking a few close up pics and not thinking before taking them if the flash would harm his vision or blind him so i was a bit worried.

    Well, if the flash doesn't blind or hurt you, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
