    What is the world record in Retic?
    title says it all. But someone told me it was 49 ft. but i heard that was not true.

    Asiatic Reticulated Python (Python reticulatus). The python holds the world's record for length of a snake, with the longest ever measured at 33 feet.

    There's alot of crazy stories about giant retics, but none of them ever verified. I would ask Bob Clark. The largest I've heard of is still in the sub 30 ft. range.

    Oh ok. Thats the same thing i thought. Im asking because i was arguing with some girl that she swore that their was an actual 49 ft. specimen at a museum somewhere. I told here thats bs because i know i wouldv'e heard about it. And it would have been everywhere if it was true. I know they supposedly had found a 49 ft. but when it was remeasured it was only 25 ft.

    Yea there we go. But in a show in animal planet they said it was really only 25 ft.
