    Ambient Temps
So its winter and my room is not very warm, and my roommates are too cheap to run the heater. The temp doesn't really bother me but I think it may be a bit cold for George. The warm side of his tank and new tub are steady at 92 thanks to a UTH but its just not transferring over to the cool side at all. I just got rid of the tank and have him permanently in a tub (at least until I can build him a nice reptile cage) but the cool side temp is running like 72, which is way too cool. I'm going to add another UTH to the cool side to get it to 80 but will that be enough? The two hides will be at the correct temps and humidity will be right but ambient may not be.

When I build him a new cage I'm hoping to put a RHP in which would help a lot with this issue but thats not going to be for at least a month or 2...

I think adding the additional UTH would be fine since he's in a tub.

Buy a space heater. The one i use heats my whole basement just fine. Its an Oil filled electric heater. Wont burn you if you touch it and it wont bun down your place.
