My family and I knew this day was coming but it doesn't make it any easier. I got the call this morning that it was the end, the vet was on the way.
Sierra was a QH, the sweetest thing who adored children. My mom bought her when I was 13 and Sierra was 9. Twenty years later I am having to say goodbye. She passed away when I was still 10 minutes away. I am forever grateful that I had such wonderful years with her and I had presence of mind on the last visit to say my goodbyes just in case. She is no longer in pain, no more arthritis, no more swollen joints. Able to run free in the big pasture abover the Rainbow Bridge. I will forever miss you girl! No one will ever touch my heart like you have.
