Akina - Normal

I've been keeping an eye on my normal female and 100% het pied normal male since September and I've only seen one lock. Who knows, maybe I'm just missing them all. Akina has shed twice since breeding season began and she eats readily. I took a few pictures of her today without flash. The light is from a window so this is her in natural light111111111111 (<-- my bird decided to give his input)

I have tried and tried to palpate but I have no idea what I'm doing in that area and I can't feel anything. I have seen no ovulation and no other breeding season behaviors (bowl wrapping, ect)
