    bathing while breeding
Can any tell me if bathing my BP while trying to breed them will hurt them. I bath them every Sunday and the wife just ask me if that is a good idea while trying to mate them, I never thought about so can any give info if it does hurt's or help during this time of year...

Why do you bath them? The only time I disturb mine is when I spot clean or water them. I take the male out to rest. Other than that I leave them alone.
Remember this is only my opinion.

Yes I would leave them alone, other than unless there is a bad odor coming from their, tub clean it as fast as you can with causing as little stress as possible, and then leave them alone

During breeding they carry that "sex" smell about them. This is what helps attract them to each other. Different males smell on a female can really entice a new male to breed. Smell is the most dominate sence in the animal kingdom. Bathing them is like starting all over again everytime you pair up snakes. Just my opinion.

I don't see the point in bathing them at all to be honest. A proper sized water bowl will let them soak at least partially if not completely when they feel like it.

I don't even give my dogs baths that often.

There's no need to bathe them unless they get poo all over themselves (and even then some of those disposable baby butt wipes work like a champ) or they have a bad shed. They mantain oils in their skin that they need and bathing leaches out those oils.
