Do Female Red Tailed Boas Grow...
Do Female Red tailed Boas grow faster in general than male red-tails, and do their heads get bigger? This kind of narrows it down to make it an easier question.. :)
Re: Do Female Red Tailed Boas Grow...
Females will grow quicker, and because they get bigger I assume their heads will be bigger too.

Thankyou!

I don't think it is possible to tell the sex of a rtb by its head if that is what you are wondering. They have to be probed or I have heard you can tell by the spurs.

oh lol no that wasnt the question, i was just wondering if their head grew bigger if they were females, i find the bigger head more attractive in this species.

Instead you can just make another post to your other thread. It seems like everyone replied just fine to the other one.
Re: Do Female Red Tailed Boas Grow...
Well I have a female boa I picked up about a month ago (still have to post pics- probably will within the next few hours), and she's three years old and almost 7ft.. But I think she would have been quite a bit bigger (and that she will be) if she had been in my care since birth.. The guy that had her before only fed her every 2-3 weeks, and I feed weekly to ensure she doesnt look at me like Im food everytime I go to change the water or take her out lol.
