Well, I took my BP out yesterday to find his eyes were blue and his belly pink. Today I put a moist towel over the cage top and some moist spaghnum moss around the water bowl. Is this a good idea for humidity? I've heard of people using the moss for humidity boxes.

That will work great, I'd even say that the moist towel is a bit overkill but it wont do any harm.

When my snakes go in to shed I just spray their tubs once or twice a day until I see the shed on the floor of the tub.

Thanks for your take! I don't want to take chances because last time he had a bad shed, and I had to help him peel it off.

I would put the moss into each of the hides. Since balls are typically reclusive during the shed process, creating humidity within each hide will work wonders :)

I just put a damp paper towel on top of the aspen under the hide. This works for me.The moss will work fine but like Starmom said in the hide.
