Would the fake plants found back in the arts and crafts section of Walmart and similar places be ok to use? I was assuming yes since i figured they were made of the same materials.

I have a few plants I got from a craft store. I can't see why not unless it's made from any toxic materials or anything sharp that could otherwise harm the snake.

What would be a considered a toxic material to a snake? The ones you can buy at pet stores and whatnot are "silk". I figured it would be better to buy the ones from Walmart and similar places because you can get more plant for your buck.

Yeah, all you really need is something made of plastic that is easy to clean, if it is absorbant than I wouldn't use it. I am sure Wal Mart brand is fine.

    yup its great stuff.

The vines are just about the best there is for the price for crested gecko cages, I'm sure it'd be fine for BPs!

I just have a big aquarium needing some greenery so this sounds like a very doable thing.

I use the vines from the arts and craft section at Walmart for my cornsnakes and BP and never had a problem with it. Just make sure you wash them and rinse them really well before putting them in there.

Oh, and be careful- some of their stuff has glitter and powder on it but this is usually just the seasonal stuff- If you look in the everyday fake plants, you should be fine.

I have never looked in Wal mart for stuff for my cages but I will now. I guess this would be a good place to show what I did to my RTB's cage. The vines come with suction cups but thet wont stay on a plastic cage so i drilled a few holes in the cage.
