    What do you get when?
I was just curious what the result is if you mix a CandyCane and a Creamisicle corn?

The important thing to remember is that a creamsicle is not a pure corn, it is a hybrid. Therefore, all of its offspring will be hybrids also.

Greg is right though, corns vary so much it is impossible to say with any certainty.

That is one HOT CC girl! I really love high white. :) My CC girl is more red, but still nice.

But yes, Creamsicles are hybrids, so you wouldn't be working with pure corn morphs. A better companion for an Amel would be a Lavender. That way you can get some Opals. :D That's my plan anyway. ;)

    Very nice CC corn!

It is my limited understanding that CC's are simply line bred extreme amels that have predictable breeding results.

Creamsicles are just hybrid amels and candy canes are just line bred amels. Thus, all the offspring will be more creamsicles as they would just be more amel hybrids. Its possible some may be look like candy canes (not likely, but possible). Those could possibly be labeled candycane creamsicles to still denote that they are hybrid.

rootbeer = normal corn x emoryi rat
Creamsicle = the mix of amel corn x emoryi rat
Candy cane = is a line bred Amel corn to be red and white. Their are some orange and white candy canes as well.

Your babies will be creamsicle by having the emoryi blood in them but they will mostly look like amels or amels with more orange than red.
