    My enclosure
Heres my first enclosure i built to house my pair of yellow belly bps im getting from pets plus. Luckly for me my wife allowed me to use my daughters shelving system that broke during the move to our new place. So with that being said I got a layout as to what i had in mind and went with it and didnt look back. its suitable for now but i will move them into a larger one when that time comes.

Enjoy and let me hear some feed back as to what i could of done better or add on. thanks. mike.

Its 4' long x 1' high x 1' deep split in the middle giving them 2ft each of space as jvs/sub adults. i used molding to make a frame for the plexiglass and some hinges at top to open and close. i wanted to use a sliding door track but i couldnt find it at the time. but its always an option.

all i have left to do is wire up the flexwatt (im using a ranco themostat), drill a hole for the probe, put vents for air, set up my thermometer/hydrometer and get some locks to keep it secure.

I will update this thread as i finish it up tonite. thanks.

That looks pretty good to me. What are you going to do about that gap in the side there though? They'd be out of that in a second even if it's only a small gap. How big are they? If they're just babies you're gonna want to FILL those cages with as much stuff as you can, hides, balled up newspaper, fake plants etc.... so they don't get stressed.

    Good luck!

im getting some locks for the sides so they wont get out and putting some vents in aswell so its still underconstruction and i will be makin hides and putting aspen with some decoration before i place them in there. it should make em right at home when they arrive.

the best thing i like about this set up is that if i duplicate it i can link more lights to the existing light set up. :gj:

very cool setup. the only thing id worry about would be dropping the door and potentially hitting them with it if they were poking their heads out. does it have a way to keep the door up without you holding it there? (imm probably just paranoid because im accident prone though, i really dont mean to criticize :) )

yea as a matter a fact i thought about that when my wife suggested it as a joke. i put a latch at the top to hold it open and a latch at the bottom to keep it closed securely.
