    Codom Naming question...
Ok, Ralph Davis calls his Yellowbellys Goblins but doesn't his Phantom look a lot like a Mojave? The super Phantom Goblin rocks!

So a Goblin is just a Yellowbelly then?

When he first hatched the phantom there was a very brief period when both RDR and TSK thought it was a mojave. This was before we even knew what the homozygous versions of any of these lesser complex mutations looked like or that they where all different mutations of the same gene. Before long they decided they where different and that was proven correct when the homozygous mojave and homozygous phantom where both produced and look very different.

I do agree with you that the homozygous versions of each look quite different. So does Ralph sell his phantoms or does he keep everything he hatches? He really has put his mark in the Ball Python market.

It's his line of Yellowbelly. Why are there lemon pastels, blonde pastels and all the other pastel names? Sure the name sucks because you have to do actually ask him or someone that knows what a goblin is but then again, once you know you wont forget. ;)
