this last internet explorer update on 12/10 messed up ie real bad.
just incase anyone else has this problem it was only ie yahoo messenger and other non ie based programs will work.
if you have this problem go to add and remove programs and there is a box to check to view updates and uninstall the last security update installed for internet explorer mine was dated 12/10
