    Thermostat HoneyWell ???
Hi I just picked up a new thermostat from home depot, it is digital cost me right around 52dollars. Was just wondering if anybody ever used a Honeywell thermostat before? Let me know if its just as good as the Helix? Let me know if this is a good choice for my racks, if not I can return it let me know your opinion though. Thanks

Sounds like a heating stat, made for low voltage control systems on a furnace or boiler.

Those are house thermostats for furnaces. They work by wiring the stat to the already existing control panel. We have one for our apartment.

These do not work for snake keeping since you cannot plug the heat elements into it. The only stats that work for herping are those that have whatever they are controlling plugged into them. Sorry...but at least you can return it. Although, if you don't have a digital thermostat for your home already I would suggest keeping it for that. Really saves money on heating.

Only one Home Depot carries that could work is the radiant flooring t-stat. Flexwatt is actually radiant flooring material adopted to herps.
