Sniper my spider ball python passed at that hour. He bought the farm.

He had a very bad burn, which later turned into scale rot and passed away this morning. Im taking him to the vet to get a necropsy. Can anyone give me an estimate price? Im just going to lye in bed for a while and watch feeding videos of him.

I think I was quoted $80. Not sure, and this was at UF vet college.

ok well, hes at the vet in the fridge. Im still waiting for a quote. Hes in a better place. but about ten mins before he died. he had his mouth open and he was twisting and spinning like he had an ibd. hopefully that wasn't the cause. but he looked like he was in a lot of pain.

Aww, that was a very sweet video. I can't imagine how terrible you must feel. But you should realize that Sniper never held you responsible. You can't change the past, and it's obvious that you've learned from it. That's the best thing to do. Time will help make things better, and in the mean time be sure to give extra love and care to those still in your possession.

I have paid around $80 for a reptile necropsy, so I would guesstimate that much. I hope he didn't have anything that could have passed to your other snakes. The bit at the end - his final moments - was truly heartbreaking.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss.

R.I.P., Sniper: You will be greatly missed. :(
