How to transport snakes long distance?
I might be going away to do an internship for a month or two this summer, but it might be in another part of the country. Is it possible to take my four snakes with me on a plane, or is that just too much of a hassle? Should I just find a herp-sitter for those couple weeks?

You cannot take your snake on a plane; you would need to have it ship to you.

Considering you will be gone a month or two finding someone to keep him might be a better less stressful option.

It depends on the airline. Check out http://nootropic.blogspot.com/2006/0...-on-plane.html
It's funny and helpful. Call whichever airline and double check, seeing as how that link is almost 3 years old.

Covered wagon with a good strong team of oxen is my preferred method of transportation. ;)

I would either have them shipped or just find someone to care for them for a little while. They are maintenance having someone care for them shouldn't be too difficult.
