    Exif data shows it's a 50mm? Is that the 50mm F1.8 or 1.4? They're not out of focus really, it's just that you used an aperture of F2 which has a really narrow depth of field. You can see the areas where the camera focused well. Plus it looks like you were shooting at 1/50 of a second for shutter speed, pretty hard to hand hold it and take clear shots at that speed, at least for me. My daughter can do it, I can't.

    Very nice man! Now you've got me inspired lol. I'm gonna have to get my lightbox set up soon so I can start taking some pics like that!

    I love the first shot of the spider, really interesting composition. And that pied is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

    Love the pics.
    next time try to use a faster shutter speed since I see most of the pics are a little bit blurry due to camera shake. I see you are using canon 450D.
    It has a 1.6 crop factor. So if you are using 50mm lens, your shutter speed should at least be 1/(1.6x50)s
    which is 1/80s :)
