    smaller cages have trios & larger tubs have 1.5 & 1.4 they have been producing real well,still need more to feed my BP's

    We use almost identical lab tanks. Do you have a problem with your ASF's chewing the food small enough to go through the slats then not eating it. We were going through food like crazy so I made 1/4 inch hardware cloth overlays for the food part...cut the wated food down tremendously. It is worth doing if you are having the same problem.

    just don't load the hopper up asf's will chew blocks to dust give them a few blocks a day.

    In my colony the ONLY reason they have ever done this was from extreme distress.

    Give them hard things to chew, give them room, watch your food not get wasted. Those are tiny enclosures, if they crumble their food, they are telling you they are stressed out or something is bothering them.

    All my asf's are breeders,those smaller cages were from my failed mouse breedding attempts:mad:,they look small but are just right for trios or pairs,easy to clean,mine don't shread blocks because I don't give a pile of food.
