Would it be ok if i put a small UTH under my snakes water dish ive notice the water is getting cold and i think with the UTH under the water dish would help with humidity but im alittle nervous if it would cause bacteria growth. Let me know what u guys think.

as long as you change the water every day you should be fine. You really shouldn't have to do that though. What kind of set up are you using?

30 gallon tank, with aspen. All temps and humidity are good, just thought it would help me cut down my daily spraying a bit. temps 90-hotspot 85-ambient humidity 50%-70%

It's a pretty standard approach on BP.net to move the water closer to the heat source as an effort to increase humidity. It's probably fine to do but I don't do it. I like to keep my snakes water cool for them and address humitity issues in other ways.

You might also want to consider switching to a substrate that hold humidity better (Repti-bark, Cypress mulch, etc)

I was in a pet store recently and this woman had 2 morphs out on display, and she had them in those zoomed tall tanks with the front opening and had large dish of that moss you can buy in petstores that was all wet. I'm pretty sure that even if you put the water dish under the UTH your still going to have to monitor it and mist it quite often. I used to do that in my frogs tank and it didn't really do a whole lot. Helps, but nothing huge.
