    Actually I would stick with the Lowes brand as it is higher quality NZ sphag. Cleaner and lasts longer.

    Yeah, what he said. HD brand (Mosser Lee) is ok, but it has a lot more sticks and leaves and tends to fall apart quicker.

    Also, sphag is pretty fungus resistant.
