Dilema(s)

So I have two questions...

1. My RTB is shedding right now and isn't moving much, her eyes cleared up yesterday. How soon should I expect a shed, and is the little moving normal?

2. I just moved in to a new apartment and had to sell my ball python to cover some unexpected moving expenses, which made me sooo angry. I do NOT want to sell my RTB but I wanna find a good place to put in my apartment. Does anybody have any ideas on types of stands or where to purchase one? I've seen some very impressive and large snake cages on craigslist and was wondering how hard those are to maintain the perfect humidity and temp.

1) Should shed in the next 3 to 5 days (give or take a day).

2) I've never had a lot of luck with large glass tanks for my snakes. I've found I spent more time playing around with temps and humidity than doing anything else. The biggest turn off is that I could never maintain the temps/humidity consistently. One day it would be fine and the next totally out of whack. Your mileage will vary, but that's been my experience.
