    I must admit...
I was kind of apprehensive about getting a BP for my first snake after I read about how finicky they can be when eating. However, I went a head and got one and with a stroke of luck I picked out the most garbage can BP in history. I got him from Albey on Oct. 4th and since then he has not missed a meal nor has he discriminated between mice or rats. Then came today what I considered the biggest test yet. Would he take F/T? So I thaw the mouse, pre-scent the room, then as soon as I lower the mouse into the cage with the tongs its gone and he has since swallowed it. I'm very excited about this because there isn't a place to get live feeders where my parents live and I'll be going back there for a month in about a week so this gives me the confidence that he'll eat F/T's for me during that time

...sorry for the long post I'm just:banana::banana::banana:

    I would be excited too!

If he's still young, you're not completely in the clear, though! Mine was a great eater until he reached breeder size. Now he goes off feed for months at a time. Not a big deal because he's healthy otherwise and I know he'll eat when he wants to, but still somewhat annoying!

Sorry if I burst your bubble- just thought I'd give you fair warning!

Yea he's not breeder size yet, but hes growing like a weed, about 175-200 g if I had to guess.

As for pictures I've posted some before and he's gettin kind of close to shedding and therefore his colors wouldn't do his super bright yellow justice. I will post some post shed pics whenever he sheds.

Here are some olds just for kicks...

and to stick with the topic an old feeding pic

both of these were right before a shed as well...he looks ridiculous directly after

Bustos says thanks for the compliment..and well I'm pretty fond of him myself. But most of the credit would have to go to Albey. He takes so much care in selecting his stock that his offspring are usually equally or more outstanding than their parents.
