Singing/Humming to Your Balls
So, I'm one of those weird people who thinks that her snakes have feelings. Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm crazy.
Anyhoo, I've noticed something about my het. albino male Hadrian that rings true with almost every snake I've ever held or owned. When I sing or hum to them, they calm down. I'm sure that this has something to do with the rate of my heart beating or some scientific something or other, but I wonder how many of you do something similar to this.
He's very...nippy most of the time, but I seem to be the only person who can handle him as if he's any of my other snakes. He probably knows my scent and such, too.
Anyhoo...
How many of you try and implement something similar with your balls?
Re: Singing/Humming to Your Balls
I talk to my snakes, same as I talk to my rodents, etc.
Cannot say that I can say there is any difference... as I have never not talked to them to know.
The calming could simply be from the fact by that point you are settled and have been holding for a while.

Re: Singing/Humming to Your Balls
Snakes don't have ears, and I do not believe that they can feel airborn vibrations, so the musical song itself most likely is not the cause of his calming. Like Bruce said, maybe by that time you are settled and your calmness while holding him (and singing) causes him to calm down??
Re: Singing/Humming to Your Balls
-Grins.- I know they don't have ears. It's a shame, really. I just feel like, because I'm trying to calm him down, I relax, and so when I hum/sing to him, he relaxes because I'm trying to relax to relax him. O_O Whoa. I was going to erase that, but I figured I'd make people laugh.
And on a totally off-topic note, I finally got a chance to watch Adam's movies on youtube...and the man is so amazing. I want some of his balls. -Cries.-
Re: Singing/Humming to Your Balls
I play my guitar for my snake.. or just while I have my snake out on the floor. Mostly it's just comforting to me, just playing some quiet laid back tunes while spending some time with my pet. Before she died, my cat would hang around and listen to people playing instruments. She didn't much care for brass, but loved me on guitar or my sister on violin.
Re: Singing/Humming to Your Balls
Aww. I wish I could play guitar to my scale kids. That would be great.
I spent last night helping Hadrian with a bad shed. He buried His face between my breasts while I sang to Him. It was kind of cute how he automatically does that when I'm holding him and he calms down.
Re: Singing/Humming to Your Balls
Im not physically capable of humming to my balls:O:rofl:! Sorry:oops: Now if i tried humming to my chondro's i might get a kiss out of one of them:rolleyes:.

I talk to him.... or cuss at him when he's wrapped around my neck and puts his tounge in my ear.
