    GTP Neonate Mice size
Do you think i could get away with feeding a young neonate GTP large pinkies? If not, if i happen to buy a bag of 50 small pinkies, do you think he'll/she'll be able to handle all 50 alone before i move up in size?

He's small, so according to the breeder, he's around 12 inches. By the way, i ended up switching him into a tub. He seems more comfortable in it.

I'd say go with a mixed bag of different sizes. You will need around 10-15 smalle, 10-15 med, and you should be on fuzzies by around 5-6 months. Feed one meal every 4-5 days until it is on hoppers. It should be on small adult mice by one year.....maybe even bigger. Looks like a nice animal.

    Good luck.

Did this come from Franzherp? I believe these are the bush master babies I saw hit the market the same week I got my order in. If so, large pinks shouldn't be too big. Don't pick out HUGE pinkies but normal pinks on the larger size. You can get too small, but I think you'll realize that before picking them out.

    Hey Brandon,
What place do you know that i could possibly order my mice like that? I e-mailed big cheese and they said i couldn't mix a 50 mouse bag with different sizes.

I tried getting my neonate from there but they never responded to my e-mail!!! I ended up getting the little one from Precision Reptiles. I would pick them out in person but there isn't a place around here where i could go and get frozen mice other than petco and petsmart. I usually order my Hopper mice for my ball pythons through The Mouse Factory. Do you think their large pinkies will do?

You may have to ask around a few places. Where are you located? Are there any shows near you? That may be the best bet for getting a mix of sizes.

I'm in San Jose CA. Not a whole lot of reptile places around here other than petco and petsmart. How many small pinkies do you think i could get in him/her before i should consider an upgrade to large pinkies?

i say go with the 50 bag because it will give you another reason to get another neonate GTP. dont want those extra pinkies to go to waste!;)
