People with hets from Jim Stelpflug aka SW Wisconsin Reptiles

Does anyone have 100% hets from Jim that have NOT proven out?

I have a pair of 100% het albinos from him that are breeding.

He was banned from one of the local shows. I hear A LOT that he is/was selling fake hets at the show.

Anyone have any answers to this to perhaps ease my mind?

i would check in the BOI on faunaclassifieds and see also. ive never heard of them but then again ive never purchased any ball pythons just carpets

I've never personally done any business with Jim but talked with him on several occasions and met him in person at a couple shows we were at. He seems like a stand up guy and I personally would give him some of my business for the right animal unless I started to hear alot to the contrary.

RKO that is just the rumor about him at the show because of the whole people who he turned in to local fish and wildlife. It is a long story go read it on fauna. He is a great guy and you won't have any problems. In fact if you get eggs I want to see pictures of your baby Albino's.

I got a Het Hypo from Jim in 2004 that has produced three clutches for me to date. Plenty of Hypos from that girl. I do have another Het that Jim produced, and I aquired from the original purchaser. She laid eggs last year, but they all went bad. Hopefully this year I'll get some more from her, and prove her to be Het Pied. That is my story. Hope it helps.

I haven't purchased any hets from Jim. However, I have talked with him on several occasions if they don't prove out, contact him, he's a stand up guy and I'm sure he'll do everything in his power to make it right.

He's been in business for years, and has nothing to gain by selling fake hets. Post up some pictures when you hatch out those albinos. :gj:

I've never bought any balls from Jim, but I've bought hets of other species from him that have proven out many times. Jim has been around for a long time and has always been a straight shooter in my opinion. However he also has a tendency to be a bit outspoken and has earned himself a few enemies through the years. I wouldn't doubt that any negative rumors have more to do with sour grapes then with the quality of Jim's snakes.
