    Mine get even lighter than that! But isnt it neat?

    When did you notice it? Was he basking? Room exceptionally warm? Ive noticed it in mine when they've been basking or the room was a tad warm. I figure its a way to help absorb less heat (lighter had vs a dark one). But then again they'll do it sometimes for no reason at all!!

    I don't know if it's related to basking or if it's a warmth issue. I'll have to pay more attention. When I snapped this photo, a different blood in the same rack had a very dark head.
