    BP won't eat
My little male just went through a shed cycle on Tuesday and hasn't eaten since last Friday. Is this normal? Should I wait a few more days and then attempt another feeding? I tried feeding him last night and he just didn't want the mouse. I know this is nothing to be overly concerned about at this point but I just want to know when I should attempt another feeding.

The general consensus about how long to wait is until its next feeding day. So if you feed every 7 days, wait 7 days. It won't hurt him to go a week or two without food.

So is it business as usual during that 7 day wait? I'm mainly referring to handling the snake.

I would say no, when you have a refusal I would recommend to wait another week before offering again but also to limit handling to what is absolutely necessary.

I agree with Deborah, skip the handling for now (except what is needed for maintenance). It may be that your snake just skipped a meal due to its shed cycle, and handling it or not will make no difference and it will eat just fine next week regardless. But we don't know for sure, so it is a better safe than sorry thing.

PS - next time you have a BP question, you might want to post it in the BP section. There isn't a problem with posting it here in general pythons, but the BP section gets more traffic so you'll get more/faster responses.
