Why in the world would a vet give Science Diet to a snake??????

I have heard of that many times from vets needing to tube feed a reptile. It is not all that uncommon.

Seems to make sense. It's a last resort to get some protein, carbs, and other nutrients into the snake. Even though it's not something they would survive off of it provides them some much needed calories.
