    My first hoggies!
So I got my hognoses today from Jenea Woods at Guardian Reptiles. They are all absolutely beautiful and we're perfectly packaged for the long trip from Florida to New Hampshire!

They're in QT right now so I was only able to get a couple of pictures before they went to the home away from home (my girlfriends house).

Here's a couple pictures of the tri-color who is freakin awesome. He was something of a "rescue" (not that anything really needs to be rescued from Jenea, if anything she'd just love them to death lol) because he was born with a couple kinks, one of which has sort of straightened itself out and the other is not bad at all. He just won't ever be a breeder to rule out any possibility of the kinks being genetic.

We're calling him Kinky for right now lol.

No names for these guys yet but here's the 1.1 westerns. I love hoggies!

    Here's the male

And the female (she's in pretty deep blue right now)

Lol, I'll have to keep that in mind :). They're really awesome little snakes. Not only are they just IMO the cutest freakin things ever they've got an amazing personality! You can't go wrong with hoggies and they're so easy to keep too!

Talk to Jenea for sure if you're interested, she's been awesome through the whole transaction. She sent along very very nice caresheets on both species and complete records for all 3. She is here on Bp.net I'm sure she'll chime in at some point (she can never pass by a thread in the hoggies section :D)

Nice firsts! You should check out the albinos. By the way, what are some of the kinks in the tri-color one?

Adam, you know me and Hoggie threads! Can't resist them! :) Now you understand my hoggie obsession! Glad you are happy with them.

Ryan, they are not kinks as much as bends. When it came out of the egg, it just did not straighten out. It was more or less stuck how it was in the egg. I was reall surprised it was able to get out of the egg at all. I want to give it some time to see if it would straighten out or not. It started eating and processing like any normal snake, and the smaller of the 2 bends did straighten out. The bigger one is really only noticable when flairs out in defense. More of a flattend area at the fourth red band from the head. I decided he would make a great pet, and just looked to find him a good home. Here he is within a few days of hatching.
