    BP not active
    Hello,
I was wondering if it is normal for my snake not to be active during the shedding process? He is also refusing to eat. How long is the shedding process? I have a live mouse for when he is ready to feed again. Thanks is advance for your responses.

I wouldn't be alarmed a snake actually can go a month or more with out feedings and survive just fine. Mine is currently in shed and he just hangs out in his warm hide. Depends on the animal on how long the shedding process is.

Its perfectly normal for your python to be more shy during a shed. Here is a link to the process. http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=28794

make sure that your humidity and temp levels are where they should be and it should get through the shed in about a week. When the shed is complete continue feeding on the same schedule as before and you will be just fine.
