    Young Corn not eating
I picked up two young corn hatchlings, about 2 weeks ago. One is eating f/t like there is no tomorrow. The other one has refused live ASFR's and has refused f/t pinkies.
I will be able to get live pinks tomorrow.. but that is not a good solution. I believe I can get them on a weekly basis, but not much is working besides live.
He was on live when I got him at a show.
I haven't tried opening the brain yet and don't have a live mouse to rub a f/t pinkie with.
    Any thoughts?
He is still in good weight but really needs a meal.

Maybe just try some tough love to get him on f/t?

But how did the live pinkie feeding go?

If you can get him eating live fine, try starting with that, then feeding him a f/t directly after he finishs the live one. There's usually a feeding response right after swallowing a meal that will be enough to induce a 'less desireable meal' to be acceptable. Getting a taste for the f/t might be enough to get him to eat it in the future. For now he doesn't associate it as food. Remember to wiggle the f/t!

I had a couple of baby corns that were refusing f/t at first. The best thing I found was to put them in a deli cup on the warm side of the tub overnight with a live pinky and nothing else in the cup (if there's paper towels or aspen in there they'll just bury underneath to get away from the pinky). After a couple times eating like that they took f/t with 0 problems and are now some of my best eaters! They're still a little skinnier than their siblings they're about 20g while the brother and sisters are about 28-29g but they're definitely catching up! Good luck with the little guy. Corns can be tricky eaters at first but I'm sure he'll come around!

Those non-feeders are great for catching bass. You might explain that to the little bugger.

I saw a video of Brian from BHB reptiles placing a second mouse in the snake's coils after it latched on to the first one. It might be worth a shot if you can get the snake on the live pinkie. But that's only if the hatchling will coil.

The new video from BHB also recommended the cup idea and scenting the mouse with tuna.

well the person who was supposed to bring the live pinks never came to the store, so I will try on Friday. I will try a f/t pink again tonight. Its sibling is munching on them like crazy.
I will check to see if any of my asf's had babies. They hadn't but I can check.
