Holiday gifts for herpers! What's on your list?

Well the holiday shopping rush is going to start soon. What are some herp related (or other) gifts you would like to give and/or receive? I know we sometimes forget the "reason for the season", but let's face it, we all want some nice loot!

I would like to get a CHE so I don't have to sleep with that darn red light on anymore, and possibly a big bale of Harlan-Teklad shredded aspen.

As far as giving, I made this thread because I always struggle coming up with cool and unique gift ideas, so help me out!

A male Lesser BP!!!!...but I may have to get that one for myself!

I told the GF that what I really want is a digital scale that reads in grams.

Told the kids to get me ties...I know that's not very exciting, but I wear a suit to work every day, and you can never have too many ties.

all i want is many ovulations !!!

More snakes and another rack. Oh, and I'd like a crested gecko.
I probably won't get any of it but they're still on my list.

i completely agree i just want my 2 girls to have a problem free full term and for the eggs to do the same but if we are talking hypothetical here then i would have to say to have all my credit cards paid off :rofl:

New heat lamps...
and to re-home the boas and put that bit of money into some slick cages for the rest of my snakums.


mom and dad said no more snakes for a while.
but if i could, i want a female het pied, and a female mojave... or a mojave pair... lol

I could definitely use an additional heat lamp.

Oh yes! I'd especially like my 66% PH Pied girl to prove out with my 100% Het Pied boy...

But, other than that, I'd really like Dr. Seward's BP breeding DVD collection,
the Barker Ball Python book, and/or the Ball Pythons in the Wild DVD.

I'd like a good pre-built snake rack, and perhaps an incubator. However nobody is going to buy these things for me because my herper friends are just as poor as me. :rolleyes: But I do plan on saving up for them.

I also want a female yellowbelly and a black milksnake, but I told myself no more snakes until I get a proper snake rack. The setup I have now is kind of crowded.

I'd never give an animal as a surprise gift, even to a herp lover. By giving them an animal you are forcing them to pay for its care, which is not fair. OP, if you have a herper friend and you're looking for a gift... I'd say anything from ReptileBasics :) Gosh I love that site.

More breeding some of my pairs just aren't interested right now.
