    shed then no eat
my little pin shed yesterday afternoon. so last night i offered frozen/thawed which she took last feeding. this time she struck a couple of times before she constricted. after coiling around it for a little while she let go and cruised away. warmed it and offered it again and she wanted nothing to do with it.

has this happened to anyone else? it kinda frustrated me because im used to my chondro. she will eat no matter what or when. she probably would eat during a shed. i once fed her when she was opaque and she had no problems. im going to wait a few days and offer again.

and to top it all off she pooed last night and when i was cleaning it she tagged me on the middle finger. little crazy girl!

Did you clean your hands before cleaning? What I'd do is give her a few days and then try feeding again.

How soon to introducing the rat did it strike? The first time I fed Pandora F/T, she struck but lost interest quickly a few a times. It wasn't until I grabbed a pair of salad tongs and simulated live movement that she reacted. This is the only way she will now eat F/T. I don't know if this will help but it's worth a shot.

i was cleaning this morning. no rat sent on me...well i hope i don't smell like rats!

this is the second time i was feeding frozen thawed. i move the rat around like its alive and she didn't go after it right away. she'll learn.

well she ate tonight. took a few tries but she grabbed it and drug it under her hide. no constricting tonight! just a grab and swallow.
