    microsoft excel :D

That counts as software for mac, right?

Excel is just about the best program out there for keeping track of data, and gives you some pretty neat abilities..

I use Apple's Number's which has pretty easy to use graphs in conjunction with your spread sheets. I was planning on switch everything to Filemakers Bento, but I think I'm going to stick with Numbers.

So you switched to a company that makes you purchase hardware and software together. The same company that puts a virtual $500 "Apple Tax" on its machine just because it caries their logo? The company that ran itself on the pride of having fewer viruses than Windows .. then switches to Intel processors and slaps XP on it's machines? The company the believes everyone should be treated like a criminal thus still uses DRM on the music bought through its 'iTunes" music store? Where functionality takes a back seat to design?

Don't get me wrong, if I were in the market for a laptop, Apple would get a serious look from me. What I am saying is that Microsoft and Apple both do a lot of things right, but both equally do stuff wrong. The only difference is that Apple has a cult to back them up at all times, and Microsoft lost that along time ago.

Lets please not turn this into *another* Mac vs. PC thread. The question is about Mac software for record keeping.

    Thanks.
